Walk or bus to Sandford on Thames

Short Walk

Gillian will meet that group at the T2 bus stop in the High near the church at about 11.45 and we go on the 11.50 bus to Sandford.  Those coming from Headington can pick the bus up on the Cowley Rd.  There is a reasonably pleasant walk through the village (c 3/4 mile).

Long Walk

Meet at the end of the canal in Hythe Bridge St at 10.30.  We can walk from there down Fisher's Row and past the Ice rink to the Thames Path in Grandpont (c1 mile). Gillian will leave the group at Folly Bridge.  The "long" walkers can then follow the path to Sandford Lock (c 3 miles)
